The Havanese is known for its happy and playful nature. He enjoys the company of people, sharing all kinds of games and curling up on our knees to take a nap. This breed has no problems living with humans and other dogs, and even tolerates the presence of cats perfectly.

The Havanese is a small dog, with a height at the withers ranging between 21 and 30 cm, and a weight of around 5 kg¹. Its body is longer than it is tall, with straight and firm limbs, and small, collected legs. His head is covered with long hair like the rest of his body, highlighting his large dark eyes shining behind his bangs and a thin snout with a black nose. His ears, also covered with long fringes of hair, fall to either side of his face. Its tail rolls over its back in a very funny way, it can have various colors. Some of the most typical colors are: Pure white, Black, Havana brown, Reddish brown, Fawn, Grey, Tobacco color. All of these colors may have stains of other shades.

Hygiene: The Havanese has a long, silky coat that requires regular brushing to avoid tangles and keep it in good condition. It is also advisable to bathe him every 4 to 6 weeks, or as necessary, depending on the activity level and the dirt of the coat²
